Lifesaver Intervention Initiative is a Nigerian non-profit with a simple, bold mission. We help teens and young adults discover that they were made to lead, and we hand them the tools to do it.
What we believe
Every young person carries something the world needs.
Too often that potential goes unseen. Not because it is not there, but because no one told them it was. Our work is to change that. To look a young person in the eye and say, you are a solution bearer. Now let us build.
We work through mentorship, leadership training, and digital skills development, and we are known for our free, globally accessible certification courses. We believe opportunity should never be locked behind a price tag.

Every movement starts somewhere. Ours started with one person, one conviction, and a decision to act.
March 2014
A burden becomes a beginning
A final-year student felt a burden she could not shake. Young people needed to see themselves as solution bearers. She shared the idea with her mentor, Dr. Hassan Achimugu, who encouraged her forward. Days later she stood before students at Our Lady Secondary School, Anyigba, and began the very first school tour.
2014 to 2022
Taking the message on the road
Those first tours grew into a movement. We carried life and entrepreneurship skills into schools across Kogi, Plateau, Oyo, Lagos, and Ogun States, reaching thousands of students with a single message: you are the change your community is waiting for.
November 2019
Made official
Lifesaver became a registered non-profit in Nigeria, giving our growing mission a firm foundation to build on.
2020
Going global through the pandemic
When the world changed, we changed with it. Lifesaver pivoted to virtual programs, launching the pilot cohort of our Leading for a Change leadership course. What began as a response to lockdown became one of our most powerful tools for reaching young people anywhere.
Late 2024
A new chapter: Earn-Powered
After a period of rest and reflection, Lifesaver returned with the Earn-Powered initiative. The response was overwhelming. Over 1,000 individuals applied across 13 countries for the first two cohorts.
2026
Refined and rebranded
Our flagship course, refined three times since 2020, was rebranded as the Un Prestige Leading for a Change Leadership Program. We partnered with Equip Nigeria to add the Beyond Success Roundtable, and welcomed our 5th cohort onto a full learning management system.

Joan felt a burden to tell young people they were made for more. That conviction became Lifesaver. Today she leads the vision, championing a generation of purpose-driven, solution-bearing leaders across Nigeria and beyond.

Joan Anuoluwa is a perspective engineer who specializes in leadership, individual and family life practices, leveraging technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Joan Anuoluwa Ologundudu is a Behavioral Scientist who helps people across borders to gain the right perspective, heal and lead a purpose-driven life. She does all of this as a Coach, Counselor, and Creative who is passionate about bringing timely truth for timely intervention.
Joan is the founder and Director of Lifesaver Intervention Initiative. She is a leadership coach who has certified young adults across Africa. With over 5,000 reach across 5 states in Nigeria, Kogi, Plateau, Oyo, Lagos, and Ogun states, Lifesaver has empowered people with life skills and entrepreneurship skills. She is a certified facilitator of John C. Maxwell Beyond Success training to Equip Nigeria. The online community of over 1,000 members shares insights on family life, global opportunities, job opportunities, and scholarship opportunities. Her free leadership course has had people across Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Malawi certified to lead for a change. Through her Earn-Powered initiative, she trains people on how to earn using AI tools free of charge. That initiative has reached individuals across 14+ countries such as the United Kingdom, UAE, Pakistan, Kenya, and more.
As a certified marriage coach with several tech certifications, she is the pioneer and founder of the foremost family life tech in Nigeria, and the web app is Elmaf.co. She tech-enables experts and provides AI solutions to coaches, experts, leaders, and organizations. They currently have membership across Nigeria, the UK, Canada, and Rwanda.
Joan was the Director for People and Culture, UN SDSN Nigerian network. She is an award-winning SDG advocate and project lead.
Joan Anuoluwa holds a BSc in Sociology from Kogi State University and an MSc degree in Sociology of Development from the University of Ibadan. As an author, she has several books to her credit that are available on Selar and Amazon.
Joan is the vice president of City Chambers, a community of graduates from the School of Kingdom Business.
Joan Anuoluwa is happily married to Abraham Ologundudu, a designer and Multimedia Producer, and blessed with a daughter.

Noah is a molecular biologist, public health biotechnology researcher, and youth development advocate. He believes science, education, and the right guidance can change a young person's trajectory, especially those who have been marginalized or come into conflict with the law.

Noah Olamide Bukoye is a molecular biologist, public health biotechnology researcher, and youth development advocate who is passionate about transforming lives through science, education, and mentorship. He believes that knowledge, opportunity, and the right guidance can change the trajectory of a young person's life, especially those who have been marginalized or come into conflict with the law.
Noah currently serves as the Assistant NGS Laboratory Manager at Biologix Support Services and Laboratories, where he leads molecular diagnostics and next-generation sequencing initiatives that support precision oncology and improve access to advanced cancer diagnostics in Nigeria. He is passionate about translating advances in genomics into better healthcare outcomes and has trained students, graduates, and healthcare professionals in molecular biology and genomic technologies.
Beyond his work in the laboratory, Noah has mentored teenagers and young adults across different states in Nigeria, helping them develop leadership, life, and career skills. He has also worked with teenagers in correctional homes in Kwara State, providing mentorship and educational support to help them rediscover purpose and build a better future. His passion is to see vulnerable and justice-involved adolescents around the world given access to quality education, mentorship, and opportunities that empower them to become responsible leaders and productive members of society.
Noah holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry (Cancer Research and Molecular Biology) from the University of Ibadan, and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Public Health Biotechnology from the University of Ibadan. One of his long-term visions is to expand educational and mentorship opportunities for vulnerable and justice-involved adolescents around the world, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build meaningful futures and become positive contributors to their communities.
Noah is happily married to Omolola Bukoye, an Early Childhood Educator, and they are blessed with a daughter.
